About Steven Grey Romande

Steven is a graduate of the University of Utah with a BFA in Theatre, Musical Theatre Emphasis. He successfully juggles the roles of Director, Producer, Coach and Entrepreneur.  As the Executive Artistic Director for MT2 Entertainment, Steve has produced, directed, and staged countless live shows and special events. National Clients have ranged from New York Telephone and Mutual of New York to ERA Real Estate and GM Cadillac. His shows have been featured everywhere from Europe to Asia, and stages around the world - including Lincoln Center in New York, the Shanghai Center, and Robert Redford’s Sundance Theatre.

As a professional actor and singer, he created the role of Edgar for the original Wuthering Heights in New York, at the Promenade Theatre. He has also been featured in Man of La Mancha, Jesus Christ Superstar, West Side Story, Cabaret and Annie Get Your Gun. As an Entertainer, he has worked with such stars as Bill Cosby, Joan Rivers, and George and Barbara Bush. His extensive range allows him to sing jazz, Broadway, pop, classical, and international sounds with ease.  He has produced and been featured in entertainment extravaganzas for international events and heads of state around the world.  He has created, directed/choreographed dozens of critically acclaimed conceptual song/dance revues, special events, and Spectaculars for many notable venues and hotels- mainly Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, Lincoln Center in New York performing Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables, and the USO. He also has performed at the Papermill Playhouse, Pioneer Theatre, and the Century Plaza in LA, Zurich Opera House, Philadelphia’s Walnut Street Theatre, Clews Hall in Indianapolis, LA’s Cinegrill, the Hyatt Grand Cypress, and Phoenix’s Symphony Hall.

Steve’s dynamic style and explosive showmanship have established him as a driving force in the shaping of New York City show style. He has been the topic of many articles in various entertainment publications. He has been invited to serve on the board of many international arts centers. Steve enjoys traveling the country, nurturing the next generation of performers, and discovering new talent. His students grace the stages of many shows currently running on Broadway. He is always cultivating new projects and special events, often utilizing the talents of his clients. He is a proud member of Screen Actors Guild (SAG), the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA), Actors Equity Association, (AEA), and the Actors Alliance of San Diego (AASD).   He is a voting GRAMMY member of NARAS, the National Association of Recording Arts and Sciences. When not on location, Steve makes his home on Coronado Island, in the San Diego area.
