About Steven Grey Romande

Steve is a graduate of the University of Utah in majoring Theatre and Music, minoring in Dance and Biology. Originally pursuing a medical career, Steve realized after years making his living in the entertainment industry, he was off to a new horizon.  Although primarily an artist, he successfully juggles the roles of Director, Producer, Coach and Entrepreneur.  Currently the CEO for Monterage Entertainment  (MT2) , Steve produces, directs, and stages live shows and special events. Clients include New York Telephone, Mutual of New York MONY, ERA Real Estate,  and  General Motors Cadillac. His shows have been featured in Europe and Asia as well as here in the Americas.  Steve has performed at Lincoln Center in New York, the Shanghai Center, and Robert Redford’s Sundance Theatre, and has  been featured in entertainment extravaganzas for international events and for heads of state around the world. 

As a professional actor and singer, he created the role of Edgar for the original Wuthering Heights at the Promenade Theatre in New York. He was featured in the productions of Man of La Mancha, Jesus Christ Superstar, West Side Story, Cabaret and Annie Get Your Gun. As an Entertainer, he has worked with such stars as Bill Cosby, Joan Rivers, and President George and Barbara Bush. He sings Jazz, Broadway, Pop, and Classical styles.  He has created acclaimed reviews, special events, and Spectaculars for many notable venues and hotels- mainly Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, Lincoln Center in New York.  Steve most notably performed concerts of Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables at Lincoln Center. He also has performed at the Papermill Playhouse, Pioneer Theatre, and the Century Plaza in LA, Zurich Opera House, Philadelphia’s Walnut Street Theatre, Clews Hall in Indianapolis, LA’s Cinegrill, the Hyatt Grand Cypress, and Phoenix’s Symphony Hall, and the USO abroad.  On television, Steve has also been featured on MTV Network's "Be Real" series in 2008, and 2009.

Steve continues to perform, and direct, as well as advise  and coach.  He has served as an artistic advisor to museum and organizations in Southern California, and across the country. Steve enjoys traveling, coaching and mentoring the next generation of performers and uncovering new talent. His clients are seen on the stages of shows currently running on Broadway, and in major concert venues.  Clients have been seen on network television shows, including ER and Boston Legal.  Current clients scored #1 albums and songs at Billboard. He continues to cultivating new projects, often utilizing the talents of his clients. He is a proud member of Screen Actors Guild (SAG), the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA), Actors Equity Association, (AEA), and the Actors Alliance of San Diego (AASD).   He is a voting GRAMMY member of NARAS, the National Association of Recording Arts and Sciences.  Steve has worked personally with renknown Physician Eiji Yanagisawa, Otolaryngologist, and great voice scientists Jo Estill and Jann Sullivan, and voice coach Seth Riggs

When not on location, Steve makes his home on Coronado Island, in the San Diego area.
